FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to medicine and describes method of determining platelet functional activity, where pH of platelet-poor plasma is measured and diagnostic indices D1 and D2 are calculated by formula D1=18.877×PPP-139.381, where: PPP is value of pH index of platelet-poor plasma, and if D1 is lower than 0.25, platelet hyperfunction is diagnosed, if D1 is higher or equals -0.25, value of diagnostic index D2 is calculated by formula: D2=16.60×PPP-122.95 and if D2 is higher or equals -0.42, hypofunction of platelets is diagnosed, and if D2 is lower than 0.42, conclusion about normal platelet function is made.

EFFECT: method does not require expensive material and technical base, special reagents, is convenient in implementation, makes it possible to use minimal amount of analysed material, ensures obtaining necessary information within an hour from sampling patient's blood, is reproducible on material and technical base of laboratory with any level of provision.
