FIELD: mass-transfer catalytic apparatuses designed for cleaning (absorption) of gas from dust and harmful impurities; may be used in cleaning of flue gases from dust and nitrogen- and sulfur-containing compounds in heat and power engineering, wood-pulp and paper and other industries. SUBSTANCE: apparatus consists of body branch pipe for intake and discharge of reacting phases which accommodates unit of ash cleaning with spraying system above which catalytic unit is located via contraction. Catalytic unit consists of removable and displaced in vertical plane baskets and drip pan whose side surface is made in the form of louvers from catalytically active plates which serve as catalyst in liquid-phase cleaning of gases from nitrogen- and sulfur-containing compounds. Additionally located in basket is catalyst in the form of granules, Rashig rings or unit. Ash cleaning unit is made of tubular members whose lower parts is made in the form of cylinder passing in tube upper part into prism, and which are secured in spraying header. Spraying liquid is supplied to tubular members through holes located tangentially. EFFECT: higher productivity; higher gas cleaning efficiency; improved operating conditions. 3 dwg
