FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wet cleaning of flue gases of solid, liquid and toxic gaseous elements. In compliance with this process, flue gas flow is forced through emulsifier. The latter is composed of cartridge assembly of pipes with flue gas swirlers arranged in every pipe and system to feed water onto pipe wall. It differs from known designs in that said emulsifiers are arranged in the line, one for ash removal, second for sulphur oxide absorption and third for carbon dioxide absorption. Note here that said emulsifiers are composed of seamless pipes from wear-proof titanium alloys at length-to-diameter ratio of 10-15, gas flow rate of 8-10 m/s and specific water flow rate of 0.25-0.50 l/m3.
EFFECT: higher reliability.
