FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method is proposed, which consists in determining the electrical conductivity of a soil sample at different temperatures and a fixed humidity by the measured values. Calculation of the activation energy of desorption of exchangeable ions is performed by one of two equivalent methods: - by the slope angular coefficient of the approximating line of electrical conductivity dependence on the temperature constructed in the coordinates wherein the angular coefficient of the line is equal to - by the electrical conductivity of the soil sample measured at two temperature values according to the formula where Ea is activation energy of desorption of exchangeable ions J/mol; R is the universal gas constant J/(mol⋅K); T1 and T2 are absolute temperatures at which the measurement is carried out, K; γ1 and γ2 - the electrical conductivity of the soil sample at temperatures; T1 and T2, respectively, Sm/m; η1 and η2 - water viscosity at temperatures T1 and T2, respectively, Pa⋅s.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of determining the activation energy of desorption of soil exchangeable ions.
