FIELD: guarding systems. SUBSTANCE: device detects interference of human body with electromagnetic microwave field which is generated by directed antenna from transmitter to receiver. In case of extended stretches of open country with length which is greater than 100 m, antennas are equipped with removable mirror which vertical aperture size is in range of 0.75-1.5 m in order to generate practically flat fence detection line and to decrease interference of surface, birds and animals. Corresponding method for mounting mirror and relative position of emitter and mirror provides possibility to use shortened linear phase-locked array which length is less than 0.2-0.3 m which is made as integral whole with housings of transmitter and receivers as mobile antenna receiving and transmitting units. In towns (when fences, houses, entrances, rooms are guarded) large mirrors are removed and emitters of antenna units serve as antennas. Unit which holds generator diode in waveguide of emitter provides increased reliability of electric contacts and simplified tuning. Device circuit has pulse bursts generator, video amplifier and video detector. Shortened linear array provides possibility to use bandwidth of 50-70 G Hz. EFFECT: fencing against intruders for perimeters of up to 500 m in stretches of open country and for length of up to 100 m in towns, increased stability to noise, increased reliability, decreased power emission and consumption. 4 cl, 7 dwg
