FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: ion-radiation plasma is obtained by ionization of gases and water vapors, and object of treatment is exposed to its action. Ion-radiation plasma is obtained by heating with the aid of resistive filament current of corona-forming electrode and sequentially repeating pulses of corona voltage. Corona voltage rises slowly and then drops abruptly. mercury and water drops are introduced additionally into ion-radiation plasma. Drops are injected by generator of drops under electrohydraulic pulsed pressure. Emission of drops corresponds to alternating current frequency of supply mains. Plasma is accelerated by longitudinal field embracing the plasma chamber. Device for treatment by method of local hypothermia has corona-forming electrode with voltage multiplication unit and provision for setting of pulsation of corona output voltage. Corona-forming electrode and dropper are positioned in plasma chamber which is brought to plasma duct of magnetic accelerator. Plasma duct is coupled to flexible probe with elastic electrically neutral heat-resistant needle at working end. Electromagnet coils of plasma chamber and plasma duct create longitudinal and rotating magnetic field. As a result, ion-radiation plasma of wide radiation spectrum is obtained. EFFECT: improved effectiveness and control of therapeutic action process. 5 cl, 6 dwg
