FIELD: ammunition containing an explosive charge. SUBSTANCE: ammunition unloading process consists in organization of burning-out of unmeltable and poorly soluble explosives from the ammunition metal bodies. A metal shell of ammunition fully cleaned of explosive remains in them. Burning-out of explosive from the ammunition ducts is carried out in the condition of laminar burning on the side of the explosive open surface. Initiation of laminar burning is carried out by action of a metal body heated to a high temperature, which in optimal cases has the shape of a ball or cylinder, or directly on the explosive surface in the ammunition duct, or of an intermediate combustible, for instance powder, which preliminarily is placed in the ammunition duct on the explosive surface. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 cl, 3 dwg
