FIELD: determination of hydrodynamic and ice forces emerging on blades of variable-pitch propeller. SUBSTANCE: dynamometer has case with radial cylindrical depressions which house roots with blades, one of which being measurement one, scaling mechanism, elastic sensitive element with resistance strain gauges and two flanges installed inside case. One of flanges is made fast to case, the other one is mobile and is coupled with measurement blade of propeller.. Elastic sensitive element of dynamometer is made in the form of five-bar spring with one central and four peripheral bars placed in pairs in orthogonal planes oriented along axes of central bar and confined between flanges. In this case central and peripheral bars with resistance strain gauges placed into measurement bridges form transducers of side, axial forces, bending moments and twisting moment of blade. Bottom of radial cylindrical depression for measurement blade has sockets for immobile flange of elastic sensitive element and axis of mentioned flange coincides with axes of central bar. EFFECT: enhanced functional efficiency and reliability of dynamometer. 6 dwg
