FIELD: mechanical dewatering sediments of municipal, domestic, natural, agricultural and industrial sewage. SUBSTANCE: belt filter press uses a drive roll, squeeze, tension and supporting rolls, with endless filter belts passed between them, tension mechanism linked with the tension rolls installed in movable bodies mounted on guides. The tension rolls are installed for reciprocating motion relative to each other by means of the tension mechanism. The tension mechanism is made in the form of differential sprockets interconnected by means of a shaft. Each sprocket is linked with the movable bodies of the tension rolls by a flexible coupling passed over it. The guides of the movable bodies are installed symmetrically relative to the shaft of the differential sprockets. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
