FIELD: mechanical dewatering of sediments of municipal, domestic, natural, agricultural and industrial sewage. SUBSTANCE: belt filter press uses a frame and a drive roll with a sprocket, squeeze, tension and supporting rolls, with endless filter belts passed between them. The drive, squeeze, tension and supporting rolls are of the same diameter, the squeeze rolls are made as drive ones; to this end, the squeeze rolls are furnished with a sprocket and connected to each other and to the drive roll by means of a flexible coupling.
