FIELD: production practice. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in feeding of cooling agent to the space of the box-type gas- distributing device of the boiling layer apparatus and introduction of jets of heat-transfer agent to the layer from the head structures installed on the upper surface of the box of the gas-distributing device and having inclined lateral ducts, through which the jets of the heat-transfer agent are preliminarily directed to the less heated surface as compared with it, and to the surface adjoining the layer; then, jets of the heat-transfer agent cooled down on this surface and repelled from it are fed to the layer. Jets of the heat-transfer agent, directed to the less heated surface adjoining the layer as compared with the heat-transfer agent, are repelled from this surface at least to one of the nearest head structures. The heat-transfer agent at the outlet of the head structures may be preliminarily directed to the surface of the box of the gas-distributing device facing the layer at an angle of 3 to 30 deg. or to the lateral walls of the apparatus adjoining the layer, or to the plates (partitions) located on the upper surface of the box-type gas-distributing device. The boiling layer apparatus with material loading and unloading devices has a gas-distributing device made in the form of a hollow box with branch pipes for inlet and outlet of cooling agent, perforated upper and lower bottoms connected by tubular inserts, each of them is furnished with a head structure closed from the top, having lateral outlet ducts for feeding of jets of the heat-transfer agent to the layer. The novelty in the apparatus is the fact that the outlet ducts at least of part of the head structures are inclined to the surface of the upper bottom; in the duct section perpendicular to its axis the width-to-height ratio equals (1.0-50.0):1, and the head structure outlet dust length-to-its height ratio exceeds or equals 1.2. The apparatus may be so made that at least part of the upper and lower surfaces forming the head structure outlet duct is arch-shaped. The apparatus may also be so made that at least one row of the tubular inserts is furnished with head structures having several outlet ducts. One or several peripheral closed rows of tubular inserts may be arranged around the edges of the upper bottom, their head structures should have one outlet duct each oriented either clockwise or counter-clockwise in the direction between the line of the shortest distance from the head structure to the lower part of the lateral wall of the apparatus or plate (partition) located on the upper bottom and the adjacent head structure of the same row. The apparatus may also be so made that the outlet ducts at least of part of the head structures are oriented in the direction of the finished product unloading device. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 8 cl, 12 dwg, 1 tbl
