FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in producing abrasive tools in the form of rods or wire of small cross-section for treating hard materials. According to method, blank with hollow space filled with abrasive grains and reinforcing aggregate parts is placed in high-pressure container, heated there, and is extruded through orifice of die in the form of rod, then rod is cooled down. Used as material of body and aggregate parts are high-tensile alloys, and used as high-pressure medium are inert gases. Extruding zone is heated up to 800-1200 C with ensured degree of deformation exceeding 70%. Various versions of thus produced abrasive tools are possible. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 cl, 5 dwg
