SUBSTANCE: cutting member in the form of double-layer plate is manufactured by directed impregnation of superhard material powder layer and powdered layer of superhard material-metal component mixture with metal binding agent at high pressure and temperature. According to invention, superhard material-metal component mixture is completed by 0.5-1.5 % of loosening material with graphite-like structure and particles 2-3 times finer than superhard material particles, using, in particular, hexagonal boron nitride or natural scaly graphite.
