FIELD: railway transport; traffic control in light traffic track sections equipped with semiautomatic signalling devices. SUBSTANCE: control signals are shaped and inlet signals with information on number of axles and direction of train are converted into digital intermediate signals from which output signals are formed containing information of inlet signals stimulating change-over signals. Output and change-over signals are compared in definite time sequence. At bit-by-bit identity of two values of compared output signals, signal limiting the track section is changed over from prohibiting into permitting state. Device has section limiting signal source relay control unit, output signals comparison unit, information channels with track pickups, first coding and decoding units and communication line, input signal processing units, reversible counter, digital comparator, additional coding and decoding units, rail zone occupancy pickup, stimulating and change-over signal generator, majority elements with control units and storage units.
