FIELD: production of pure nickel-containing salts, namely, nickel sulfate by using waste electrolytes of copper production. SUBSTANCE: contaminated nickel sulfate is dissolved in water, then it is treated with hydrogen peroxide. Thus obtained solution is neutralized by nickel carbonate, the process is carried out in the presence of phosphorous-containing compound. Phosphoric acid, or potassium dihydrophosphate or sodium orthophosphate is used as mentioned above phosphorous-containing compound. EFFECT: decreased content of zinc, ferrum and copper impurities in desired product. 4 cl
