FIELD: metallurgy, electrolytic refining of copper from anodes containing nickel, zinc and other impurities. SUBSTANCE: process of electrolytic refining of copper includes electrolytic dissolution of anodes and electric extraction of copper from prepared electrolyte. Excess of electrolyte emerging with refining of anodes is processed by way of sequential electrolytic deposition of copper with production of nickel solution, additional cleaning of portion of given solution from copper, its evaporation to concentration of 400-600 g/l of sulfuric acid, extraction of acid from liquor and return of re-extract carrying sulfuric acid into circuit of electrolytic refining of copper, cleaning of nickel solution from zinc and its further processing with electrolytic refining of nickel. EFFECT: decreased energy consumption and usage of materials for production of electrolytic copper.
