FIELD: chemical technology, inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing copper sulfate solution with the heated mother liquor, evaporation and crystallization at concentration degree 2.5-3.3 and continuous circulation through boiling zone of the blue vitriol crystals suspension at multiplicity 30-50. Mother liquor is taken off separately from crystallization zone and heated to temperature by 5-15 C above that of blue vitriol crystallization point and mixed with circulating suspension. The obtained blue vitriol crystals were pressed out and dried. Product is used in metallurgy, chemical industry and for fertilizer producing for agriculture. EFFECT: increased yield, enhanced purity and quality. 1 tbl
