FIELD: electrochemical treatment of aqueous solutions and production of gases. SUBSTANCE: during operation of plant initial solution, enters branch pipes 4 and 5 of lower bushing 3 where presence of guide members 13 and 15, spiral in shape promoted, screw motion of electrolyte which is preserved in electrode chambers 30 and 29. After electrochemical treatment, produced solutions and gases enter upper bushing 7 where under the action of screw motion, they are withdrawn from respective chambers through branch pipes 9 and 8. Simple design of electromechanical plant is attained due to provision of screw motion of electrolytes in volumes of electrode chambers which is caused by presence in bushing of inclined channels and guide members, spiral in shape, and makes it possible to attain prolonged action of electrolyte process on treated aqueous solutions.
