FIELD: electrochemical water treatment. SUBSTANCE: water to be treated is fed from pressure source 1 through filter 2 to the anode chamber, and through water flow governor 7 it is fed to cathode chamber 5 of the continuous modular reactor with a porous ultrafiltration ceramic diaphragm operating under high pressure. While water is flowing through the anode chamber, active chlorine is produced which disinfects microorganisms and oxidizes organic ingredients, and in the cathode chamber organic ingredients are subjected to reduction. After the anode chamber water flows through vessel 6 with catalyst on which active chlorine gets disintegrated. EFFECT: enhanced quality. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
