FIELD: optical electronics, in particular, TV and heat vision sets, instruments which have linear and matrix photodetectors. SUBSTANCE: each sensitive element of photodetector has at least one register in first memory unit for storage of code for correction of signal sensitivity and one register in second memory unit for storage of code for signal drift compensation (background signal). Every time when code for signal drift compensation is generated and code of signal sensitivity correction is generated, information which is stored in first and second memory units is updated. This information is used when video signal is generated. Correction codes are generated by analog-digital iterations. Video signal is generated in analog form using operations of addition and amplification. EFFECT: increased speed and precision of compensation process due to setting clock rate for reading signals from photodetector elements during generation of video signal to higher value in comparison to generation of code for signal drift compensation and code for correction of sensitivity for each element of photodetector and by means of compensation of signal drift (background signal) for each element of photodetector. 1 dwg
