SUBSTANCE: antitheft device has stem installed for sliding in tube and locking mechanism fixing position of stem relative to tube which is furnished with support members for mounting on articulated-lever members of car steering gear. Stem is passed through hole in tube. One end of stem is made in the form of pressure member for engagement with articulated-lever members of steering gear, while the other end is provided with handle.
