FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: method of ammoxidation of C3-C5-monoolefines to prepare α,β- monounsaturated acyclic nitrides having from 3 to 5 carbon atoms and NCN by addition of said monoolefins, molecular oxygen and ammonia into reaction zone during vapor phase contact with solid ammoxidation catalyst in which molar ratio of molecular oxygen and ammonia to said monoolefin being added is at least 1.5 and 1.0 respectively. Said catalyst comprises elements indicated in imperical formula: V1SbaMmNnOx, wherein a=0.5-2; M is one or more metals selected from Sn, Ti, Fe and G; m= 0.5-3 is generally 0.1 and not greater than 1; N is one or more metals selected from W, Bi, Mo, Li, Mg, P, Zn, Mn, Fe, Ge, Nb, Zr, Cr, Al, Cu, Ce, B; n= not greater than 0.5. Preparation of catalyst involves contacting in aqueous suspension of vanadium compound and arsenic compound, said vanadium being in solution.
