FIELD: transport engineering; heavy-duty structures. SUBSTANCE: proposed rail- and-beam structure has rail unit, craneway beam reinforced by longitudinal ribs, reinforcement channels and brake beam. Rail unit is installed on craneway beam and is made of T-member with wall pointed upwards, and two rails. Rails are arranged symmetrically relative to wall of T-member and connected with T-member by studs. Channels are arranged between longitudinal ribs and upper belt of beam over its entire length being connected with longitudinal ribs of beam by means of studs. Flange of T-member of rail unit and flanges of channels project by 50 - 100 mm outside beyond longitudinal chamfer of craneway beam upper belt. T-member flange is connected with corresponding flanges of channels by studs passed from outside near flange of upper belt. EFFECT: increased service life, improved repairability and simplified design. 2 dwg
