FIELD: ferrous and non- ferrous metallurgy; crane runway structures for heavy duty cranes. SUBSTANCE: proposed connection unit has crane runway beams with crane runway belt made of T-section. Triple-head rail is secured by studs on upper belt. Upper belt of each crane runway beam is connected with longitudinal ribs of beam wall by connectors-shock absorbers provided with flanged edge at the bottom. S-shaped vertical shock absorbers are arranged between longitudinal ribs of beam wall and support plate to column crossmember. S-shaped shock absorbers are connected with column by detachable adjusting studs found in horizontal plane. Other S-shaped absorber is installed between column and corresponding longitudinal rib being connected with flanged edge of corresponding connector-shock absorber and with column by means of studs. Lower of crane runway beam is located lower than column crossmember and is connected by cover plates with lower belt of adjacent crane runway, and is connected in vertical plane with column crossmember by studs.
