FIELD: liquid-salt nuclear reactors. SUBSTANCE: fuel composition is obtained by fluorinating oxygen-containing mixture of lithium, beryllium, and plutonium dioxide. Plutonium dioxide content in mixture is high enough to produce fuel composition containing 0.4-10 mol % of plutonium trifluoride. Fluorination process is carried out at 350-400 C for 45-90 min.
