FIELD: production of articles from fibrous plastics. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing space along perimeter of inner part of press mold; placing layer of fibrous polymeric material containing 10-30% of thermoplastic binder into space; filling remaining part of press mold with fibrous particles having moisture content of 6-25%; performing hot pressing under pressure of 70-120 kg/sq sm and temperature of 170-200 C, with fibrous polymeric material-product thickness ratio being (1-2) : (5-50). Fibrous polymeric material particle size is not in excess of 0.5 mm. Layer of fibrous polymeric material may be formed by laying of prefabricated fibrous polymeric material plates.
