FIELD: production of articles from wooden-polymeric materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing acetic or formic acid into ground wood chips in an amount of 1-5% of wooden chips weight; increasing moisture content to 5-25%; mixing with polymeric binder and simultaneously providing shear deformation by applying pressing force of 20-60 kg/sq cm to mixture; filling press mold and pressing article at temperature of 170-180 C and under pressure of 20-60 kg/sq cm. Moisture content of wooden chips may be increased by spraying with water or solution of acetic or formic acid. Polymeric binder is taken in an amount of 10-20% by weight of mixture. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of articles. 6 cl, 1 tbl
