FIELD: railway transport; running gear suspension. SUBSTANCE: flexible suspension has axle boxes and flexible members placed between axle boxes and frame of monoframe running gear. Rigidity controls are placed in parallel with flexible members. Each rigidly control consists of two units of coaxial pneumatic cylinders arranged symmetrically relative to middle vertical plane of axle box rigidly secured on frame. Pneumatic cylinders accommodate piston engaging through series-connected rods with sliders installed in guides. Pneumatic cylinders of rigidity controls of middle wheelsets communicate with compressed air source through air regulators and those of extreme wheelsets are placed in communication with compressed air source through controlled air regulator. Loads from unsprung masses are uniformly distributed among running gear wheelsets, cross loads on running gear and track are reduced. EFFECT: reduced loads on rail track. 3 cl, 3 dwg
