FIELD: mineral fiber production. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing composition for treating glass and basalt fibers applied in manufacturing composites based on thermosetting binders. Composition contains (in wt %): water- soluble ethylene oxide-propylene oxide copolymer, 0.6-2.5; cationic or nonionic surfactant blocked by diisocyanate, 0.02-0.5; organosilane or organosilane mixture, 0.3-1.0; adhesive selected from the group including epoxide resins and their mixtures with polyvinylacetate, dicyanodiamidoformaldehyde resin and/or gelatin, 0.7-2.0; and water, the balance. Composition may also be supplemented by polyethylene glycol with molecular weight 400 in quantity 0.2-0.5 wt %. EFFECT: enhanced fiber treatment efficiency. 2 cl
