FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: lining material has at least one fabric of interlaced nonwoven threads or filaments extending in predetermined common direction. One surface of fabric is covered with pattern composed of dots of heat melted polymer. Fabric has threads formed as yarn of continuous textured filaments extending in direction transverse to predetermined common direction. Transverse threads are bound with nonwoven fabric by splicing with threads or filaments. Since lining material has only one nonwoven fabric, dots of polymer are applied to fabric surface, on which transverse threads are partially protruding. Lining material may contain two nonwoven fabrics of interlaced filaments or threads, between which transverse threads are extending. Density of polymer dots is at least 60 per square cm of material surface area. EFFECT: simplified method and improved quality of material. 7 cl, 3 dwg
