FIELD: production of blanched mechanical wood pulp from leaves or coniferous chips for further utilization in manufacture of paper and cardboard products. SUBSTANCE: method involves subjecting wood chips of coniferous or foliar kinds of trees to disintegration in the presence of alkaline solution containing hydrogen peroxide, sodium hydroxide, sodium silicate and complex former. Hydrogen peroxide is used in an amount of 20-40% of total amount required for the process. Upon disintegration, hydrogen peroxide is added into obtained pulp in an amount of 60-80% of total amount and held in reactor at temperature of 70-90 C for 30-60 min, with following washing, condensing to required concentration and grinding of pulp. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and improved quality of pulp. 1 tbl
