FIELD: connection of protective metal tubes for laying cables in building and structures. SUBSTANCE: pipe connector consists of two half-couplings provided with side coupling flanges which may be used for clamping the half-couplings at their ends; at least one half-coupling has one or both convex faces being clamped together in their center portion. After securing the connector at end of one pipe by clamping the half-couplings, hole at other end of connector becomes larger in size because convex form of faces being clamped makes half-couplings on other side separate, thus facilitating connection of pipes.
