FIELD: treatment of solid radioactive wastes by grouting them in cement. SUBSTANCE: radioactive soil containing fossil impurities is mixed up with limestone, alumina, and mineralizer. Mass proportion of ingredients in mix is as follows: radioactive soil - 50-60; limestone - 20-35; alumina - 3-4; mineralizer - the rest. Mix is roasted at 800-1100 C and crushed to specific surface area of 2500-4500 sq.cm/g. The mix is slaked with water and weathered until monolith is formed.
