AIR-ATOMIZING BURNER Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2106914 C1

FIELD: power engineering; designed for spraying of liquids and water-coal fuels. SUBSTANCE: air-atomising burner includes body 1 accommodating over its axis rod 8 with spherical outlet end and liquid channel 3 and gas channel 4 embracing rod 8, and liquid circular nozzle 5 and gas circular nozzle 6. To increase dispersion of spraying, liquid flow at rod walls is accelerated and its surface energy raised. This is achieved due to availability of additional gas channel 9 inside rod, over its axis, and circular liquid nozzle 10 located downstream the circular liquid nozzle. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
