FIELD: torches.
SUBSTANCE: pneumatic nozzle contains a body with a pipe for supplying compressed gas, a pipe for supplying liquid installed along the axis of the body with axisymmetric compression and subsequent transition to a diffuser, and a gas nozzle formed by a protrusion on the inner wall of the housing and a ring nozzle on the pipe for supplying liquid. Inside the annular gas channel, there is additionally a swirler, which is a section of the outer surface of the nozzle head on which helical ribs are made, the number of which, shape, thickness and angle of inclination are selected depending on the required value of the torch opening angle. The swirler is located in close proximity to the transition point of the annular gas channel into the slot nozzle.
EFFECT: improved quality of atomization and ability to control the opening angle of the gas-droplet torch.
