FIELD: production of building materials in mining and other industries. SUBSTANCE: vibration exciter has body 1 with channels 2 and 3 for admission and discharge of working medium, respectively, and movably installed core 4. Core 4 is connected with body 1 by means of flexible diaphragm 5 to form chamber 6 of forward motion which is communicated with intake channel, and chamber 7 of reverse motion communicated with discharge channel. Diaphragm 5 is secured to body 1 by its external and internal contours and fastened to core 4 with its middle section. Hollow of chamber 6 may be formed in body 1 or in core 4. Chambers 6 and 7 are interconnected by channel 8 in core 4. Channel 8 accommodates valve 9 for alternating opening of this channel or discharge channel and closing the other channel.
