SUBSTANCE: invention concerns vibration equipment and can be applied in construction and mining. Vibration exciter includes case with inlet and outlet orifices; striker with through channel, mounted in the case and moving due to changes in difference between opposite forces affecting the striker - effort from springing medium linked to the case by one end and interacting with the striker by the other end, and effort from work chamber or due to the changes in difference between opposite forces of work chambers affecting the striker; gas distribution system including valve with separate stopping units, where one stopping unit serves to stop work medium feed to work chamber with simultaneous connection of the work chamber to air via another stopping unit, or vice versa. Single stopping units are positioned at one valve end featuring through orifice connecting valve ends.
EFFECT: expanded application sphere, variability of feasible structures.
