FIELD: compression of natural gas in gas and oil fields; gas supply systems, gas charging and gas lift stations for production of gas and oil; gas and oil transportation; oil refining and chemical plants; power plants. SUBSTANCE: rotary screw compressor includes housing, drive and driven rotors located in working space. Housing is provided with exhaust hole at high-pressure side and suction hole at low-pressure side. At least one rotor is secured for rotation at low-pressure side by means of bearing device which includes load-bearing bracket fixed in end plate. Load-bearing bracket has cylindrical outer circular surface and extends into cavity located in rotor forming first chamber between bracket and rotor. Bracket is provided with passage for supply of oil to first chamber. Circular surface of load-bearing bracket is provided with groove connected with oil supply passage and recess connected with oil drain passage in load-bearing bracket.
