FIELD: metallurgy, for conveyance of molten metal in heating appliances with a closed cross-section. SUBSTANCE: the method involves arrangement of heat-insulating layer around the refractory pipe of the metal conduit, formation of an induction work-coil around it and in contact with it, centering of the heat-insulating layer surrounded by the work-coil in metal housing of the metal conduit refractory pipe, filling-in of the space between the work-coil and metal housing with refractory concrete at vibration and drying of the appliance after concrete setting; the appliance has a metal housing, closed metal conduit positioned in it and made in the form of refractory pipe placed in a metal housing, outlet positioned above the feed opening for feeding at least of one mould, for lifting the molten metal throughout the entire length from the feed opening to the outlet, as well as at least one induction coil arranged throughout the entire length of the pipe, separated by heat-insulating layer and surrounded by refractory concrete filling the metal housing, the coil cooled turns are made for supply with alternating current; the heat-insulating layer separating the induction coil from the metal conduit pipe is made of a layer of refractory concrete and/or at least of one layer of fibrous material.
