SUBSTANCE: tower has casing 1 with air-admission ports and air-catchment area with sprayer 3 mounted above it, water distributor 4, water trap 5. Draft unit incorporating contraction 6 with fan 7, annular contraction channel 8 with atmospheric air stream inlet control, and diffuser 9 with conical shell 10 is mounted on top part of casing 1; fixed at outlet of contraction 6 downstream of fan 7 are shaped plates 10; ribs are provided on inner surface between diffuser inlet and outlet; they are joined with annular groove 12 between diffuser 9 and external surface of conical shell 13.
