SUBSTANCE: metal mould for casting of rolls is heated to 50-90 C and heat insulation coat is deposited on its working surface at the rate of 0.257-0.78 l of mixture per second. Speed of rotation of atomizer is found by formula , where f is coefficient equal to 0.35-0.42 cm2/s2;; ν is kinematic viscosity of coat, sq. cm/s. Speed of movement of atomizer in vertical plane is determined by formula W = αkp, where α is coefficient depending on temperature of metal mould equal to 0.75-0.91; K is coefficient of consumption of coat per unit of area of metal mould equal to 0.36-0.42 dm-2; p is consumption of coat, l/s. EFFECT: provision for uniform coat over entire length of working surface of metal mould.
