FIELD: off-shore drilling technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to drilling bore-holes from off-shore drilling platform with use of aerated drilling muds. Off-shore drilling platform incorporates drilling equipment and power facilities. Piston or plunger-type pumps are made with compression chambers which are installed between hydraulic part of pumps and their delivery valves. Pumps by means of inlet valves of compression chambers are connected with unit of low-pressure compressors, unit for preparation and delivery of hydrocarbon gas, and unit for generation of air-nitrogen mixture. This ensures effective preparation of aerated drilling mud at simultaneous reduction of expenditure and increasing operating performance of equipment. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
