CYLINDER LOW-PRESSURE END SEALING Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed sealing is designed for mounting between exhaust branch pipe of cylinder and housing of turbine rotor bearing support. Sealing has horizontally split external case and holders fitted in case and carrying sections of sealing rings. Holders are provided with support feet passing axially towards each other from extreme holders to middle one and from middle holder to extreme ones being clamped with possibility of relative displacement in division plane. Extreme holder from side of rotor bearing support is provided with side mounting feet for location on bracket of bearing support housing. Said sealing provides compensation for expansion differences in exhaust branch pipe and housing of rotor bearing support. EFFECT: improved manufacturability, facilitated mounting, as compared with sealings of known design. 2 cl, 3 dwg
