SUBSTANCE: mechanical draft tower includes additional device made in form of truncated cone; diameter of lesser base of this truncated cone is equal to diameter of central ferrule. Lesser base of device is secured to lower shear of central ferrule and larger base directed towards pond is mounted at spaced relation to it to create flow rate of air within 3 to 15 m/s for additional cooling.
