FIELD: sighting devices, in particular optical sights. SUBSTANCE: target indicator optical system uses an objective lens, diaphragm. The diaphragm is positioned near the objective lens focal plane. Image of the sighting mark is formed in the sighting object space, the target and sighting mark image are visible equally sharp. The observer examines the scene, and at a detection of target in the field of view of one of the eyes introduces the target indicator. Partial overlapping of the eye entrance pupil having an end size by the exit pupil of the target indicator allows the observer to see simultaneously the sighting mark image and the sighting object. Sighting is accomplished by matching of the sighting mark sight point with the selected hitting point on the target. Depending on the tactical task to be solved, the scene supposed to be fired on may be examined either with the marked eye, or with magnification and/or brightness amplification; to this end, additional optical systems are used. Control of energy relations of light fluxes arriving from the target and target indicator, making a correction, for instance for speed and target range, elimination of excessive information about the sighting object are possible only by changing the position of the head, thus providing for relative displacements of the observer's eye, additional optical systems, target indicator to the specified positions.
