FIELD: heavy-current semiconductor electronics; laser and acceleration engineering. SUBSTANCE: high-voltage switch has trigger unit, first capacitor, first unit of reversible dinistors, first diode, nonlinear saturable-core element in the form of choke coil, step-up transformer whose first winding is connected in parallel with trigger unit and its starting lead connected to positive lead of the latter, its second winding first lead is connected through first capacitor to cathode of first diode and anode of the latter is connected to first lead of choke; newly introduced are second capacitor, resistor, inductive element, second diode, second unit of reversible dinistors, demagnetizing coil of choke, and demagnetizing coil of step-up transformer that has saturable core; second lead of step-up transformer secondary winding is connected to anode of first unit of reversible dinistors whose cathode is connected to first lead of second capacitor and to cathode of second unit of reversible dinistors whose anode is connected to one of choke leads; cathode of second diode is connected to anode of first diode and to second lead of second cathode and anode, to first lead of transformer secondary winding which is its starting lead; connected in parallel with first capacitor are series-connected demagnetizing winding of choke, resistor, inductive element, and demagnetizing winding of step-up transformer. EFFECT: improved reliability of switch due to stabilizing magnetic state of choke and step-up transformer and reducing pulse amplitude of current flowing in trigger unit components. 2 dwg
