FIELD: medicine, anesthesiology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with measuring respiratory minute volume for several minutes several days before and after premedication before operation and under condition of relative increase of average value of respiratory minute volume at the background of action of introduced preparations premedication is considered to be inadequate, and at relative decrease of average value of respiratory minute volume an adequate sedative effect of premedication is stated on. EFFECT: higher accuracy in identifying both adequate and inadequate premedication to choose correct curative tactics, well-timed diagnostics of inadequate premedication which is considered to be an anesthesiological complication to solve this problem and eliminate its origins. 1 tbl, 2 dwg
