FIELD: method of grinding materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes forming of gas suspension jets in nozzles with curvilinear axis followed by collision with revolving targets of different signs of direction of circumferential velocity vectors; at moment of contact with targets, relative velocity of material reaches subsonic and supersonic levels. Acceleration of gas suspension may be effected by combined method. Device for grinding the material is designed for realization of the above-mentioned method. It includes housing, grinding chamber of accelerating nozzles for feeding the gas suspension, lower and upper rotors mounted coaxially for opposite rotation; they are provided with targets located over concentric circles at different angles of attack. Nozzles have curvilinear axes; nozzles are secured on upper rotor; nozzles may be secured rigidly. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 2 dwg
