FIELD: grinding equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming flow of material to be ground; directing flow of said material to grinding chamber into zone of rotation of rotors provided with blades having different signs of circumferential speed vector; discharging ready product. Apparatus has pressure difference source for creating forced flow of material to be ground and directing it from center to peripheral parts of grinding chamber. Rotors with blades are rotated at speed providing creation on rotor blades of separating pressurized air layers acting upon material and preventing it from colliding against blade surface. Apparatus is further equipped with grinding chamber housing, speeding up blades, and rotors mounted for rotation in opposite directions and provided with blades. Pressure difference source is positioned between inlet and outlet ends of grinding chamber and is made in the form of fan. Method and apparatus are used for grinding of mineral and plant material having different hardness and moisture content.
