FIELD: underwater drilling platforms. SUBSTANCE: underwater drilling platform is made in form of submarine which is provided with pressure hull and outer hull and items of machinery, systems and units required for submarines; submarine is provided with living compartments for crew and vertical cylindrical pressure compartment for performing drilling jobs. Cylindrical compartment is provided in center portion of hull and is connected with other pressure compartments by means of passages. Store of tubes and all items of working equipment are arranged in this cylindrical compartment. In lower portion of cylindrical compartment there is suction chamber which is connected with semicylindrical (semispherical) envelope which is open from below. This envelope is placed on sea bottom and water is pumped out of it in working state; then covers of hatches are opened and access is given for drilling tools. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
